In the break room, heavy panting sounds accompanied by crashing waves echo throughout the bathroom.
"Ah...mmm...ah..."
Dani is firmly pressed against the frosted glass, her eyes filled with passion.
The man behind her moves with the force of a sudden storm, shifting positions that propel her to sink and rise with the waves, leaving her unable to find her footing.
Low moans and breathing combine into a unique symphony, lasting more than three hours.
By the time the man is finally content, it is already one AM.
The entire building is quiet, all employees have left work, leaving only the President's Office occupied.
Glancing at the time, Dani endures the soreness throughout her body, stands up, and puts on her pencil skirt and blouse.
Then, she turns around, flashes a professional smile, and asks, "Mr. Quin, will you be staying in the company suite tonight or at the West Garden Villa?"
If he stays in the company suite, she will be able to go home, as they never let her spend the night here.
If he goes to the West Garden Villa, as his personal assistant, she'll have to escort him back before returning to her own home to rest.
James lights up a cigarette, and amid the swirling smoke, his deep gaze fixates on her face.
She has already raised her hand to put up her long black hair, restoring her usual, dignified, and rigid appearance as if the sexy, enchanting woman gasping like a succubus in the bathroom had never existed.
If it weren't for the lingering enchantment in her cold eyebrows, he might have really thought that everything just now was only a dream.
But it was true - once they stepped out of this break room, they would return to their professional relationship. He was the president of East Quin Group, and she was his PA who had followed him for three years. If it weren't for Dani being able to stay clear-headed and adhere to her role, she wouldn't have been able to stay by his side for so long.
"Stay the night," James said.
"Okay, then. You should rest early; I'll head back first."
Dani smiled and nodded and just as she was about to turn around, the man's satisfied and husky voice rang out again.
"Help me draft a divorce agreement tomorrow."
Dani's footsteps came to a sudden halt, and her breathing paused. It had been six years... Why did he suddenly want a divorce now? Had he discovered something?
Three years ago, to pay for her stepmother's medical treatment, she interviewed with East Quin Group. She had never expected to become the personal assistant to the group's president, let alone that this president was actually the husband she had only met once but had been married to for three years.
However, it was clear that James had completely forgotten about his wife, whom he had only met once, and did not recognize her. But it was understandable, as they had married six years prior when she was just a young, naïve girl about to graduate from university. She was a far cry from the sophisticated woman she was now, after having struggled through society for three years.
But she could not let go of the generous salary she received from the East Quin Group, so she chose to hide her identity and stay.

She stiffly turned around and looked at James, who was flicking ash from his cigarette, unable to stop herself from asking, "Divorce... on what grounds?"
"Emotional incompatibility, I guess." James, unaware of her unease, continued, "I've put it off for six years. I'll give her 2 million as compensation."
Dani felt a bit dazed, thinking that since he was willing to pay so much money, it meant he still didn't know the truth.

Dani rationally controlled every trace of her true emotions, and reminded him, "Mr. Quin, the prenuptial agreement stated that you would pay for her mother's medical expenses for three years, and she would leave with nothing upon divorce."
"You don't have to pay this sum."
"I know but I've wasted six years of her youth, and she seemed to be in a sticky situation at the time."
James recalled the girl he saw rushing through the entrance of the Civil courts, nodding shyly. She didn't even dare to look up at anyone from beginning to end.
He couldn't remember her face and all her information. To prevent her from having any wild ambitions, he had her sign an agreement, only paying for her mother's medical expenses for three years.
Unexpectedly, she never contacted him again after three years and never sought his help.
With that thought, he couldn't help but let his gaze fall on Dani's delicate and cold little face once again.
"Alright, President Quin." Dani lowered her eyes and responded.
"Also."James opened his mouth again, his expression obscured in the hazy smoke, and his lips slightly parted, "Sarah is back."
These six words struck Dani's heart like a gigantic stone.
She finally knew the reason for his wanting a divorce.
Because his long-awaited love, Sarah, would be returning after six years!
